Dr. Parisa Shahi is a dedicated prosthodontist and implant specialist with a passion for restoring smiles and enhancing patient care. As the owner of San Mateo Prosthodontics, she combines advanced prosthodontic expertise with cutting-edge digital dentistry to provide exceptional restorative and implant treatments.
Dr. Shahi completed her Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship and Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, where she also lectured and mentored graduate residents. Her commitment to academic excellence and clinical mentorship was evident early on through her involvement in UCLA’s Continuing Education programs.
My philosophy of dentistry over the last 52 years has always been to advise patients to preserve their natural teeth. I have done this by prioritizing definitive restorations in middle age, avoiding patchwork dentistry, and providing my dental hygienists with adequate time to provide for the all-important maintenance of my patients’ periodontal health. Presently, I provide consulting on select cases and help with minor procedures as I approach my 80th birthday in January 2026. I am confident in Dr. Shahi’s ability to steward your dental health and this legacy practice forward.
